Have a work-in-progress that you’d like some feedback on?

Join us on June 27th from 1-3pm for a virtual open critique!  Open to all SCBWI members!

Important Details: In order to give everyone a chance to receive feedback, space is limited to 8 participants and participants are limited to 5 pages from their manuscript. Participants will be asked to share their pages (plus a short synopsis, if necessary for context) with the group ahead of time to facilitate critique. Instructions for submitting and participation details will given after registration. DEADLINE TO REGISTER/SUBMIT IS JUNE 19.

Fabulous author Carol Barreyre will helm the group. Carol writes new adult and adult romantic suspense and YA adult contemporary fiction under the name Addison Brae. She been writing since childhood and continues today with articles, video scripts and other content as an independent marketing consultant. She’s addicted to reading and enjoys jogging, sipping red wine, binge-watching TV series, vintage clothing and hanging out with her artistic other half and their neurotic cat Lucy. She’s a member of International Thriller Writers, Romance Writers of America, RWA Kiss of Death chapter, SCBWI, and Writers’ League of Texas.
